Perhaps some of the members from Scotland can provide some additional information about these two Coutts brothers William and Patrick in America. There seems to be quite a bit of mystery as to exactly where they came from and their background.

Hello all,

I was adopted at birth 10/29/1960.  My birth mother named me Shona Mai Coutts.  She was 21 when she had me and was all alone in the U.S.  She came from Scotland when she was 19.  I recently recieved non-identifying information about her family.  The problem is, I dont have any names (other than Coutts) only birthdates.

I have know idea where to start.  I hope someone can steer me in the right direction.
