We have traced our family to Seggieden Farm near Huntly Aberdeenshire, and it is still there. We got back to 1773. I can easily dropbox the birth and death certificates, and census records. it starts with Martha Niven, then Janet Niven, then Martha Coutts in 1842, first time the Coutts is mentioned, but no father listed.
