I thought i'd add this photo from ad sheet related to the group that my great aunt sang with in Canada. i'd esp like any info that anyone could give me about Katie ie Coutts-Bain. She was my grandfather...Neil Campbell Coutts sister & I know about her but I'd like to know more. my mother visited her when Mom was young & told me stories about her....Katie is known in the family even as far as Western Canada. She sang before Royalty with Sir Harry Lauder at that time. Mom said that when she sang with the window open on Bathurst Street a crowd would gather downstairs to listen. She also had a parrot that would say naughty things & compliment my Mom when she visited as she was a very bonnie gal.
